Introduction

1.The ESP32 Arduino development board (ESP32 UNO D1 R32) is an opensource development board based on the Espressif ESP-WROOM-32 module. Its Arduino UNO-compatible form factor gives direct access to the rich Arduino shield ecosystem, and it fully supports secondary development.

2.The board breaks out every pin of the ESP32 module and integrates Wi-Fi,Bluetooth 4.2 (BR/EDR/BLE) and an Ethernet MAC, with 4MB Flash and a dualcore processor. Together with the onboard CH340C USB-to-serial chip, a single USB cable handles both power and firmware download — an ideal platform for IoT, smart hardware and embedded development.

Specifications

Specifications to be added.

Hardware

The expansion board routes display bus, touch signals, and SD card interface to standard headers. Confirm controller board logic level before use.

Size

  1. Align the expansion board with the controller board header.
  2. Install the matching display driver library.
  3. Run color and touch test examples.
  4. Adjust pin definitions and UI per project requirements.

FAQ

What if compilation shows insufficient capacity?
Reduce font and bitmap resources, or choose a controller with more capacity.
What if colors are abnormal?
Check driver model, color order, and initialization orientation settings.
